This one secret is probably the most hidden in modern marketing. Even big companies rarely use this simple secret, unless they enforce it into their terms and policies. Many people overlook it and it was right in front of them ALL ALONG. Are you ready for this secret? Brace yourselves, because it’s: DON’T LIE!

Many marketers tend to mislead potential customers by saying “Become a millionaire overnight” or “Lose 50lbs in a week.” Don’t do any of that snake oil pitch, because YOU WILL lose trust.

We’re here to bring real value to potential customers, not fantasy stories where goals can’t be achieved. You’re here to help change or improve your customers’ lives no matter how big or miniscule. If the product you chose simply doesn't ooze integrity or honesty, then you should Stay away from it and don’t look back. Chances are, they’re probably just using your hard work for their own gains.

You need to pick the right product that WORKS for YOU, and also one that you understand deeply, so that you can create content revolving around the product which brings us to the second step of bringing value to your traffic.

The more content you can create for the product, the more valuable information you can send to your mailing list and viewers. This is how you build trust and community, especially if your audience are cold leads. You need to warm those cold leads with information!

Some questions that may help you come up with content:

  1. What intriguing new information have you learned about your product?

  2. Pros and cons of the product and how can you spin those cons into pros?

  3. Compare similar products to the product you’re marketing

Have you brought value to your audience yet? If not, it’s time to do so!
