Create A Productive Morning Routine And Stick To It
The most successful people in the world have created their own morning routine to be productive.
Have you pressed the snooze button on your alarm way too many times?
Believe it or not, you need a daily routine to function at more than 110%. The #1 reason you aren’t fully functioning is because you probably have bad habits. Guess what…
It’s time to remove those bad habits, because bad habits are the most biggest blocks on your road to success.
Here’s a video you should watch on building your habits and overcoming bad habits. This retired Navy Seal is the epitome of self-discipline and he teaches people how to work harder and do better for themselves. His name is David Goggins and just a warning, he does use a lot of profanity.
Hope you’re pumped because now you’ll have to come up with your own routine.
Write down a list of bad habits you want to remove from your life and replace them with productive routines you believe will help you improve your quality of life.
It can be tough at first but I assure you that once you power through the first few days, you won't be able to live without your routine. This applies to everyone, not just people that work for themselves.
What I do every morning without fail
I have my alarm set to ring at 6AM. That’s when my cat wakes me up to prepare breakfast for him. Once I set his bowl down, he starts eating right away (My cue to start my own routine).
I head to the bathroom floss and brush my teeth. I used to use floss lines, then the genius minds of dental hygiene invented floss picks. Once water floss became popular, I bought one and started to use it exclusively because of how good of a job it does at flossing and cleaning my teeth. The water floss also saves me lots of time and reduces bleeding on my gums (which is a huge plus for me since I bleed a little every time I floss).
Here’s an affiliate link to show you what the water floss is, if you want to invest in one:
Even though I’ve been working from home, I never fail to prepare myself in front of the mirror. I wash my hair and shower as if I go to the office everyday, because it helps me warm up my mind and wakes me up to finally get the day started.
Next, I sit down at the kitchen table with my 5-Minute Grateful Journal and jot down the things that I am grateful for, what would make the day better and also what I want my daily goals and affirmations to be. This may be silly but it helps tons with building a positive and grateful mind. It helps you become the person you want to be if you’re very active with it every morning. We talk about it a lot during our sessions because it’s such a simple idea that’s being sold on Amazon like gangbusters.

After journaling, I turn on my laptop, put on some jazz and open Google Docs so that I can write at least two articles (That’s when I build my value series. Remember, Value, Value, Value, Sale!).
This is what I do every morning when I wake up.
There are some things I would like to improve for myself and little by little I would implement them. These are the small battles that win the war. In this case, small daily routines that you are in control of to improve your overall quality of life.
I hope my daily morning routine inspired you to create your own. It’ll help you pave your way to success for sure!
What do you do every morning? What type of habits would you like to change?
See you on the other side!
